Fabrication

We pride ourselves in having the capacity to run multiple jobs simultaneously, and ensuring that all steelwork is delivered on time and on budget.

Recent investment in lean manufacturing processes and workshop automation, including a CNC saw and a beamline has seen us continue improving, efficiency and cost effectiveness of our steel fabrication.

All our fabrication meets strict quality control standards, inline with our Construction Category 3 Steel Fabricator Certification, and we pride ourselves on continuously offering our fabrication staff the opportunity to upskill and gain new qualifications.

We also offer overflow fabrication services to a number of other structural steel fabrication companies in the Lower North Island.

Surface Protection

With our in-house blasting and paint shop, we ensure the highest quality finishes in line with the specifications of the steelwork we are producing.

Our Surface protection ranges from basic zinc-rich primer, to finished paint, powder coating and heavy corrosion resistant protection such as hot zinc arc spraying.

Surface protection and finish is particularly important for the Architectural Exposed Structural Steel that we fabricate and install. With nothing hiding the completed steelwork, all cuts, welds, bolt plates, and of course the painting or surface protection need to be very high quality.
