About Us
Petone Engineering has grown steadily in the past few years, to now include over sixty staff based out of large premises with completely modernised plant and machinery. This combination has significantly increased our structural steel fabrication capacity. Our focus is always on quality and ways we can improve the service we provide. An important part of demonstrating and continuing to build our level of service are the certifications, accreditations and memberships we hold.
Our 3,000 square metre fabrication workshop and office in Seaview, Lower Hutt gives us the space to run multiple, large scale projects simultaneously, and deliver exceptional quality, cost-effective steelwork to our clients on time, every time.
Our production capacity and the accuracy and quality of the structural steel we fabricate is further enhanced by our installation of fully automated, computer-controlled equipment, including a MEBA 1100 DG metal cutting bandsaw and an Ocean Avenger Plus beam drilling machine.
Petone Engineering has significant experience in earthquake strengthening of commercial buildings and apartments throughout the Wellington region. We are frequently called on to provide specialist advice and assistance in this area.
