History

Committed to strong communities.

Throughout our history, we’ve been committed to playing our part in Wellington communities. Specifically, we’ve been a strong support of junior sport throughout the Hutt Valley. 

This has resulted in Petone Engineering giving both time and financial support to a diverse range of groups including local sports clubs, primary schools, secondary schools, plus other community initiatives.

We strongly believe in the lifelong benefits and skills that sport can teach both junior players and adults alike and will continue to develop this commitment through associations with junior sports programmes and clubs.

Our workshop

Our 4,000 square metre fabrication workshop in Lower Hutt gives us the space to run multiple, large scale projects simultaneously, and deliver exceptional quality, cost-effective steelwork to our clients on time, every time.

Our production capacity and the accuracy and quality of the structural steel we fabricate is further enhanced by our installation of fully automated, computer-controlled equipment, including a MEBA 1100 DG metal cutting bandsaw and an Ocean Avenger Plus beam drilling machine.
