Meet the Meba

As part of our move to our new premises in Seaview, we are excited to announce our purchase and installation of a Meba 1100 DG metal cutting bandsaw.

With full CNC automation including a roller feed and back-stop system, and the ability to cut beams up to 1.1 metres high and mitre up to 60 degrees, the new saw can cut almost any beam that you would see in the New Zealand market and sees us making a significant investment in our production capability and capacity.

The advantages for our clients are shorter lead times and gains in accuracy and quality control resulting in better steel frames, on time, whether they are for seismic strengthening retrofits, commercial or large, multi-unit residential construction projects.
